get so dark that you’ll find yourself feeling around the blackened corners of

forgiveness nor would I accept it. My sins are my own. They keep me company.

every fairy tale has a villain, someone waiting in the wings to rip it all
down. A scoundrel who will set the world on fire if that means he gets what he
wants. That’s me.
This review is so hard to write.
Only because I want to gush and fangirl but I can’t do that without giving spoilers. So vague references of my adoration will have to do.
A-aron weaves and intricate plot while she plays with the points-of-view of her characters, and your own perceptions of them. Nothing is really what it seems and all the threads that are woven in and out keep you guessing until the end. Just as soon as you think you know how everything is going to play out, the rug is ripped from under you and you’re left trying to puzzle it out again.
I was so stuck on figuring out where she was going with her plot, I almost didn’t notice how much Sebastian had crawled into my heart until I found myself wondering: “When did I start rooting for the bad guy?” CA did an exceptional job of developing this character. There’s no doubt in my mind that Sebastian is a psychopath capable of devious acts, but with his beautifully described naivety and vulnerable honesty and confusion over things that just seem like common sense to the rest of us, he is one of the richest, most precious, interesting characters I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. And I was swooning all over the place.
This is one highly entertaining read that I definitely recommend. If you want a book that will make you rage in frustration, turn you on, laugh into your sleeve, make you swoon, fall in love and leave you panting and exhausted on the floor – #oneclick this right away!
Celia Aaron asks if you could love a villain. I dare you not to.
